How long does it take to make a name stone?
Custom order name stones usually take 4-6 weeks to make, depending on our workload. Christmas stones need to be ordered in October. If you need a gift sooner see next question.
Back to topWhat if we need a gift next week?
A template for each name is made individually on the computer. A copy of this template may be wrapped and given as a gift and the stone picked up later.
Back to topThe paint on our rocks is very durable. It is like a thin piece of plastic. It will weather well for many years without chipping or fading.
Back to topWhat are the measurements of the name stones?
Name posts are between 4-foot and 6-foot long depending on the length of the name and if there is a picture. Porch rocks are between 18-inches and 30-inches long and will fit on a front porch or in a flower garden.
Back to topName posts may weigh between 400 and 600 pounds, and therefore must be picked up in a van or in a pick-up. Porch rocks weigh between 75 and 200 pounds.
Back to topHow much do the two base stones that the name stones sit on cost?
The two base-stones are included in the price of your name stone. If you want your name post to set on posts, two or more feet out off the ground, the posts are $75.00 each.

Back to topWe are unable to deliver as all our spare time is spent chiseling and painting rocks. Also, it would add a tremendous amount to the price of the stone.
Back to topAre there any special care instructions?
If the rock is damaged, for instance the lawn mower is run into it, the paint needs to be repaired right away. This will prevent water from entering the chipped part and getting behind the rest of the paint making it peel. Care instructions and the kind of paint to use are on the back side of our card.
